Our Ketamine Therapy Process

Our treatment rooms are thoughtfully designed to provide a safe, comfortable, and private environment where patients can relax and feel supported throughout their treatment. You may be feeling lonely, disconnected, or lost – all of which can be signs of mental suffering that ketamine can help alleviate. No matter what you are going through, we believe in every person’s ability to heal. During the initial evaluation, one of our clinicians will review your medical records, discuss your needs and preferences, answer any questions you may have, and help you decide whether ketamine therapy may be an effective treatment for you. Prior to this meeting, you will take a two-minute assessment to ensure you are a candidate for treatment.
Rose NeuroSpa’s treatment programs are guided by scientific research and the wisdom of traditional practices. Each treatment program combines the use of ketamine with therapeutic preparation and integration. During the preparation session, one of our providers will help you set goals for your experience and establish a set of intentions that will shape your ketamine journeys and integration work. The stronger and clearer the intentions, the more profound the transformation can become.
Each Spravato treatment session lasts about two hours, after which patients should have someone available to accompany them home safely. During the treatment, participants administer the Spravato nasal spray themselves under the supervision of a healthcare provider. Following administration, there is an observation period of at least two hours during which patients can rest comfortably while blood pressure and other vital signs are closely monitored. We recommend patients bring headphones to listen to music and eye shades to facilitate an inward journey of introspection. Aromatherapy is also provided to enhance comfort and relaxation.
How Often Are Treatments?

Typically, patients receive Spravato twice weekly for weeks 1-4 followed by once weekly for weeks 5-8. Week 9 or thereafter, Spravato may be administered once every other week for maintenance which will be decided on a case-by-case basis.
